Next Level BUILD is an organisational development service based on LEGO® Serious Play®, designed for situations where meetings and traditional workshops no longer move things forward.
If it also requires developing specific skills, I support it through separate, targeted training.
LEGO® Serious Play® is a guided, structured, collaborative thinking and problem-solving process. Building by hand, creating models jointly, storytelling and spatial, three-dimensional thinking bring to the surface aspects that often remain hidden and unspoken with other methods.
Next Level BUILD is particularly effective when:
During LEGO® Serious Play®-based facilitation, we jointly explore what is truly happening within the team: where the blocks and unspoken tensions are, and what steps you should take next. New perspectives and innovative ideas emerge while team members become much more committed to change and implementation. In complex, difficult decision-making situations, this provides particularly effective support.
When the direction is already clear and collaboration and team spirit have strengthened, but specific skills are also needed for implementation, we continue the process with targeted training.s
We do not work with externally imposed solutions, but with approaches the team developed on its own. This is why change can also work well in practice and last in the long term.
The foundation of Next Level BUILD is a LEGO® Serious Play®-based organisational development workshop. We use this when there is a need for strategy development, new and innovative ideas or operating processes, or the strengthening of organisational culture and cohesion.
If specific skills also need to be developed quickly in order to implement the direction set jointly, I complement the process with targeted training blocks.
Next Level BUILD consists of LEGO® Serious Play®-based organisational development workshops. The length of the process is always adjusted to the complexity of the specific topic and situation. A single session typically lasts half a day or a full day. For more complex issues, we choose a two-day format.
A workshop usually has 5–10 participants. For larger groups exceeding 12 participants, we work in split groups and, if necessary, I involve another experienced facilitator or trainer to ensure that every participant has the opportunity to contribute and engage actively in the joint work.
The LEGO® Serious Play® method requires in-person presence, because the true strength of the process lies in building by hand and creating joint models. The online format has limitations, so BUILD is most effective as an in-person workshop.
